“Be who you are”, is a common phrase in this present age which gives us self satisfaction, Right ??….. But do you know the origin of this caption? It was the caption for the “Pride month” of lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, transgender and Queer movement (LGBTQ). Let’s verify the facts behind this.

In the famous Article, “Sexuality and Gender: findings from the biological, psychological and social sciences”; by Dr. Mayer and Dr. Mettugh, the idea that ‘transgenderism is something that is produced by biological causes’, is not supported by Scientific evidence.

The LGBTQ movement seeks identity and meaning from their Psychological feelings and sexual self-perception. Our feelings are irrelevant to determine what is true. Indeed, feelings lead us away from the truth. For example, you are traveling on a hot summer day and suddenly you see a pool of water in the middle of the road and get to believe it. But, when you get closer to it, that pool of water is gone. It’s a tricky phenomenon played by the atmosphere called Mirage. Exactly like your feelings, can be deceiving.

True identity is not found in the way you think that it is. According to the bible, man is created in the image of God and for His glory. God created us, as male and female and there is nothing more than that. (Gen 1:26, 27)

A wise God, sovereignly made you in your mother’s womb and made you precisely as He intended you to be and that is reflected by what you observe in your body, not by what you feel. Your bodily anatomy is not an accident. It has a purpose from God. It was given to you by God. If you look at the pelvic bone of a male and female, the latter has a broader bone structure than the former, for the purpose of carrying a baby in her womb.

Gender is not something you get to choose, it is assigned to you by God at conception and is identified at birth. You don’t have to try to change and be somebody that you are not, no matter what you feel inside. It is not about changing your body to conform to the confusion that’s in your mind. It’s about conforming to what God has made you to be and that’s revealed in the physical structure of your body.

17% of the world’s population are homosexual couples and 35 countries in the world legally recognise them according to the 2023 census. This sin has taken unique properties in our culture. It has been declassified as a sin and turned it into a sort of civil rights group. It is being advocated not only privately but publicly as well.

Homosexuality is not a preferred sexual orientation, it is not an alternative lifestyle, it is not a genetic thing, this is sin and perversion that damns the soul of men and women. It is a sin that will damn you and it will exclude you from the kingdom of God forever.

According to the Bible, marriage is heterosexual by definition (Mark 10:6-8). Homosexuals stand in rebellion against the will of their Creator who from the beginning made them Male and female (Matt 19.4).

No matter what the sins, whether homosexuality or transgenderism or anything else, God has promised forgiveness, salvation and the Hope of eternal life to those who repent and embrace the Gospel.
