History reports the existence of a man named Job who lost all of his sons and daughters, also his wealth. The people around him mocked him with provocations to reject God from his life. Yet, he believed and prayed to God alone. He was strong enough to pray “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.” (Job 1:21). The Bible, echoing Job’s experience, declares in Psalm 127:3 that children are indeed a gift from God. Sometimes, the manifestation of these precious gifts may face delays, or God’s plan may unfold in unexpected ways.
