Bound By Numbers?

It’s disheartening to hear the news of people committing suicide as they can’t meet their ends meet. Of Course yes, we need money for our shelter, clothing and food but ending your life is never a solution. There are times when you are overburdened and shattered with EMIs, electricity bills, loans and always finding it hard to even exist in this world. Being a breadwinner of your home, you might even want to cry out loud to your heart’s content and never want to let your family down. You are not alone.

During these times it’s comforting to know that in Mathew 11:28 Jesus says ” Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. God never turns his head towards his people which is reflected in Matthew 6:26 says “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than them?”. If nature is cared for by Him, we too are valued and cared for. 

And if one may not have the wisdom to manage his finances to those the bible states “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”  (James 1:5).
